Nurture musical development a young age with music and movement songs and activities for babies up to early 2 years of age. Enjoy music in a wide variety of formats throughout the day: Easy to learn: Lullabies, finger and toe plays, tickles, bounces, peek-a-boos and movement activities will be presented. * Infant – early 2 years olds.

MUSIC FUN FOR INFANTS & TODDLERS
This workshop will explore the importance of music and how to nurture it at a young age. We discuss how to build a curriculum through the use of developmentally appropriate music for infants through three years of age. Lullabies, singing songs, fingerplays, toeplays, bounces, action and movement activities, singing with books. * Multi-age: Infant, 2-3 year olds.

TWOS AND THREES COME SING WITH ME!!
Let’s explore their world of wonder with singing and moving while teaching and reaching toddlers!! Age and developmentally appropriate singing and movement songs, with extended teaching activities for colors, numbers, letters, body part identification, learning basic skills and more!! * Toddler 2-3 year old.

Singing and moving during your day can benefit you and your children for healthy bodies while stimulating our brains for new learning! Active involvement through the elements of movement: body parts, action, space and its quality and relationship to movement. A whole lotta shakin’ and movin’ going on! * Multi-age: Early Childhood, Pre-school, Kindergarten.

FINGERPLAYS FOR TEACHING & LEARNING DAYS!
Learning with music and movement from fingers to whole body! Fingerplays are a fun way to help warm-up little hands before engaging in fine motor skills! Fingerplays develop rhythm of words (language development) while introducing new vocabulary, following directions and develop listening skills. Counting and becoming familiar with numbers help your children understand other aspects of math! Traditional and original finger-plays and action rhymes to use with your hands, felt and magnet boards. Counting, rhyming, sequencing, letter, word, color, and number recognition, simple math addition and subtraction. *3-5 year olds.

CIRCLE OF FRIENDS: Circle Songs, Games and Dances
Let’s “Ring-around-the Rosie” and “Rumble To the Bottom” with our “Circle Of Friends”. Music and movement songs presented in a circle setting, adaptable for individual, partner and group spaces. Materials presented include: Simple math (geometric shapes, number recognition, addition) and letter recognition. Traditional songs and gross motor movement, world songs and dances. * Multi-age: Preschool, Kindergarten, School-age.

ELEPHANTS HAVE WRINKLES: Teaching with Animal Songs
Sing and chant, move and dance learning fun with animals, insect and birds. Incorporating early math and problem solving, literacy, colors, concepts, body part identification. Extended ideas for props, flannel and magnet boards, creative play and themes. *3-5 years.

SING-A-MOVE-A-DANCE: Music for your Day
KEYNOTE or Workshop
Do your children like to sing? Move? Dance? This presentation will demonstrate use of music as a tangible means of teaching basic skills, language development, motivation, social awareness and diversity. Start the day with “Hello” and end with a “Goodbye: in different languages. Clean-up, transitions, Celebrate: Earth Day. Singable songs to reach and teach throughout your day! “A book companion for each song presented”! * Early Childhood, Pre-school, Kindergarten.

I’VE GOT STORIES, I’VE GOT SONGS: Books and Songs
Linking songs and chants with literacy! Sharing our favorite books, books to sing, and songs to use as book companions! Add a song, sound effect, puppet actions and movement to bring literature to life! Samples of folder books, flip books, and props, puppets for stories will be shared. * 3-6 year olds.

MUSIC AND MOVEMENT FOR ALL CLASSROOMS
